Delhi – Meerut Super Expressway
The second phase of Delhi-Meerut Expressway is expected to open by match this year. This expressway will connect Delhi and Meerut via UP Gate to Vijay Nagar route, i.e., the second phase of the expressway which is 20-km long. The section between Akshardham and UP Gate, which is 9 km long, has been developed in the first phase of the project is already functional.
This Expressway will boost the property market in Ghaziabad as it is the builders’ hub. This infrastructural construction would increase the demand from both investors and end consumers in regions like Raj Nagar extension, Modinagar, Crossings Republik, Vaishali, and Indirapuram.
High-Speed Rail (RRTS) between Meerut to Delhi
Another proposed link between Delhi and Meerut that will reduce the travel time. A high-speed Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) corridor – this means that people will be able to commute between the two cities in just 60 mins. The project aims to provide passengers with “business-class luxury.” The train commences its journey from Sarai Kale Khan till Modipuram in Meerut covering 92Km.
The network will cross via Ghaziabad and Modinagar again making the commute easy for the residents of NCR especially Ghaziabad, making it an ideal location to invest in property. The project is expected to be over by 2014 according to the reports.
International Cricket Stadium in Raj Nagar Extension
Apart from the highways and expressways, there is another huge project that is coming up in Ghaziabad. The Hon’ble CM of Uttar Pradesh while inaugurating a cricket stadium at Lucknow announced that a world-class international cricket stadium with 45,000 seating capacity is soon to be constructed at Raj Nagar Extension. The stadium will be built over an area of about 35 acres at a cost of nearly Rs 60 crore on behalf of BCCI in Morti.
This is a huge infrastructural development and the 3rd major reason to lift the real estate market in Ghaziabad as the locations that would be benefitted from this construction.
All three infrastructural projects are the top ones to look out for in the year 2019 which will benefit Ghaziabad in terms of real estate market boost, especially in regions like Raj Nagar, Modinagar, and Indirapuram. Ghaziabad, in the span to 4 to 5 years, will become one of the most developed city due to smooth connectivity.
