Moving ahead in the direction of decentralizing the National Capital Region, the government had to create and develop small pockets within Delhi’ vicinity. Thankfully, when it comes to Ghaziabad, it already has much-developed localities such as Raj Nagar Extension and Modinagar. To further add to the growth story of Raj Nagar and Modi Nagar, the government has proposed to develop Delhi Meerut Super Expressway that will make commutation to these locations much faster and easier. As Raj Nagar and Modinagar fall in the middle of the two ends, they stand to get benefited the most.
The government has proposed a total of Rs 30,000 Crore for these projects; for RRTS alone the government has proposed Rs 22,000 crore.
As per an estimate, the travel time from Delhi to Modinagar and Meerut to Modinagar will be cut by almost 60%. This will have direct impact on the residential real estate markets of Modinagar and Raj Nagar Extension. The investors and end consumers have already started buying properties in these two locations.
